First Transformations

I spent two days cleaning, sanding, priming, and 

painting my first pieces of furniture.  I couldn't hardly move afterwards

, but I loved every minute of it!!  Surprise!  And out of it I got a "new" desk with hutch and a table...all for $5.00 plus the cost of quart of primer!  I had the paint already.....so I am posting the before and after pictures....I know I am not a expert, but I did enjoy myself and I will learn as I go......next up...painting my bathroom and decorating w/blue & white and pink & white flower china plates...the walls will be a pink...so here we go...first project!!!!

 Here is the finished product....it has a home in my bedroom...with a "few" of my favorites things to decorated it!!

This is the table...started on, but before...cost $3.00....
